When I started the "Who Got Next" series for this blog, I wanted to highlight all of the greatness within the city of Philadelphia and the amazing talent we hold.

From designers to musicians, I want people to know that the city of brotherly love is a city full of underground talent. When you meet people with the same ideas, it can be very refreshing. For example, Naomi Coleman of Access by NKC. She created an boutique agency to help creatives in the city of Philadelphia reach their highest potential. Speaking to her was not only inspiring but it confirm my thoughts of Philadelphia, we are a bubbling city ready to explore.

My Summer Bucket List 2016

Every year since 2014 I have written a summer bucket list. 

This idea was inspired by reading one of my favorite blogs, Free People Blog and ever since then I have been hooked. My summer bucket list has been getting shorter and shorter over the years. At first, I thought I was just getting lazy. But then I realized I rather just let nature run its course and go with the flow.

Odunde Festival 2016: Street Style

Anybody who knows me knows that I love attending the Odunde Festival every year. 

The essence of the festival and the energy it brings is just wonderful and something I just have to witness each June the festival comes back. I love walking around, meeting new people, seeing all the beautiful fabrics, jewelry and people. Eating the food and listening to the music, watching the performers. It serves a great energy to unite the African-American community. 

Best of the East Coast: Philadelphia, PA

Road trips is the best summer activity anyone can do. Whether you are cruising in the car while blasting your favorite jams or meeting new people while being one of the many passengers on a Greyhound bus, exploring the good ole U.S.A can always be super fun.
