Fashion Illustration: Dionne from Clueless

As we all know, Clueless may be one of the greatest (if not most stylish) movies in pop culture history. Fashion Favorites: Lily Collins

Fashion icons are hard to come by, definitely in this time and age. It's all about following trends instead of being yourself and finding your own style. People are to invested in fashion and not enough in personal style!
There are those few rare jewels that I called my fashion favorites! They are not yet fashion icons but they're well on their way . Lily Collins is one of those fashion favorites which actually surprise me.

Fashion Illustration: RobynHoodsCloset

Fashion blogs are my newest source of inspiration for my own ideas for my illustrations. I have experimented with many styles and trends, also duplicating people that I believe have an amazing taste in fashion. This is where Robyn from RobynHoodsCloset comes in. I came across her blog about a few months ago and I must say I have been obsessed ever since then.

Punk: Chaos to Couture Exhibit.

This weekend I went to see the much anticipated fashion exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Punk: Chaos to Couture was an exhibit showcasing this wonderful world of the Punk era which was a world-wide obsession during the 70's and 80's. The exhibit featured many great designers and the collections that was inspired by the Punk era such as Alexander McQueen, Dolce and Gabbana and of course the queen and king of punk, Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm Mclaren.
